Source says Lions OL coach Hank Fraley is scheduled to interview in-person today with the Seahawks for their offensive coordinator position. This will be the second interview for Fraley with the Seahawks.
The Patriots interviewed Vikings assistant OC/assistant QBs coach Grant Udinski for their offensive coordinator job yesterday, per sources. Udinski’s very valuable in Minnesota—and considered a rising star in the field. The 28-year-old is also a finalist for the Seattle OC job.
The Lions have already lost offensive coordinator Ben Johnson to the Bears, while defensive coordinator Aaron Glenn looks to be on track to land the Jets’ head coaching gig.
Now entering their third week of interviews, the Seahawks may need to hasten their offensive coordinator search with new competition entering the mix.
With Johnson heading to Chicago and Mike Vrabel already in New England, five head coaching vacancies remain. The media could not be loaded, either because the server or network failed or because the format is not supported. The Jets, Saints, Jaguars, Raiders and Cowboys are still in the hunt.
