HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) – The Indiana House Elections Committee heard a proposal that could change election schedules across the state on Wednesday. House Bill 1055 would allow cities and towns to move their municipal elections to even numbered years.
Ranked-choice voting has grown in recent years, now used in 52 different U.S. cities, counties and states, most notably in Alaska, Maine and New York City.
