Jesse Marsch, the American-born head coach of the Canadian men's soccer team, took aim at President Donald Trump on Wednesday and suggested he back off the "ridiculous rhetoric" of making Canada the 51st U.

Jesse Marsch has said he is “ashamed” of Donald Trump’s “ridiculous rhetoric” towards the country since the US president’s return to the White House.

"These international tournaments mean something different for Canada, now," Canada soccer head coach Jesse Marsch said today.
