Brad Underwood hates losing. The Illini head coach says it takes a toll on him, perhaps more than it should. The blowout loss to Duke on Saturday, which marked the program’s most lopsided loss ever, didn’t sit right with him.

Illinois’s game against No. 15 Michigan will be much different than previous meetings, but will see a reunion of two head coaches. The Wolverines are led by Dusty May, who took over the program before this season after five years at Florida Atlantic.
