A person familiar with the deal told The Associated Press on Sunday that the Kansas City Chiefs and linebacker Nick Bolton have agreed to a three-year, $45 million contract that keeps the quarterback of their defense out of free agency.

The Kansas City Chiefs agreed to a two-year, $20.5 million contract with cornerback Kristian Fulton, his agency, Athletes First, announced Tuesday.

Fulton appealed to the Chiefs because of his versatility and tackling ability. His arrival likely means Justin Reid won't be re-signed.
