U.S. stock indexes are edging back from their record levels on Tuesday as an incredibly busy week for Wall Street picks up momentum. The S&P 500 was down 0.1% in afternoon trading after setting an all-time high in six straight days.

The S&P 500 added another 0.1% in early trading after setting an all-time high every day last week. The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 19 points, or less than 0.1%, as of 9:35 a.m. Eastern time, and the Nasdaq composite is 0.3% higher, coming off its own record.

Wall Street’s record-breaking, weeklong run ran out of momentum on Tuesday. The S&P 500 slipped 0.3% for its first drop after closing at an all-time high in six successive days. The Dow Jones Industrial Average sank 204 points,
