Shades of green are trending in a big way right now. Could the color even dethrone black as the MVP of our closets? It’s well on its way, if the spring-summer 2025 collections are any indication.
Shades of green are greens mixed with colors from our other two cones. Take green plus a little red, and you get greenish yellow. Add a little blue, and you’ll see more of a shade of turquoise.
In all, color experts estimate there are about 300 shades of green in nature. A leaf’s age, shape, health, location and other factors help determine its greenness.
