From one Mississippi quarterback to another, Eli Manning sent Jaxson Dart a congratulatory video after going to the Giants in the 2025 NFL Draft.

The New York Giants traded back into the first round of the 2025 NFL draft to select quarterback Jaxson Dart on Thursday. With Dart getting picked by New York, he follows in the footsteps of franchise great Eli Manning, who also played quarterback at Ole Miss before becoming the Giants signal-caller.

He joins a Giants team that went 4-13 in 2024 and had already selected edge rusher Abdul Carter with the No. 3 pick in the draft. He will likely sit behind Russell Wilson and Jameis Winston in 2025 and will hope to gleam some knowledge from the veterans.
