The Israeli army said on Friday that sirens were sounded across the country after ballistic missiles were fired from Iran. "A short while ago, sirens sounded in several areas across Israel following the identification of missiles launched from Iran toward the State of Israel,

Earlier this week, the U.S. State Department raised its travel advisory for Israel to Level 4, its highest level, and is warning U.S. citizens to not travel to the country. The West Bank and Gaza are also under the “Do Not Travel” Level 4 advisory.

As fighting between Iran and Israel continued for a sixth day, the U.S. Embassy in Jerusalem made its first announcement for Americans trying to leave Israel.
