Star center J.T. Miller is on his way back to the New York Rangers as the Vancouver Canucks are shipping the center for Filip Chytil, Vincent Mancini and a protected first-round draft pick per NHL insider Frank Seravalli. He has been scratched from Vancouver's lineup for Friday night's road game against the Dallas Stars.

The New York Rangers acquired veteran center J.T. Miller from the Vancouver Canucks in a multiplayer deal on Friday night. The Rangers sent center Filip Chytil, defenseman Victor Mancini and a 2025 conditional draft pick to Vancouver. New York also received defensemen Jackson Dorrington and Erik Brannstrom.

J.T. Miller is headed back to the Rangers in a blockbuster deal with the Canucks, who will receive Filip Chytil, Victor Mancini and a 2025 first-rounder in return.
