The singer was asked in an interview if she would like to go to space as Perry did, but Carey expressed some disbelief: "Did she go to space?"

It would seem Mariah Carey is just a bit spacey, since the diva extraordinaire missed some pretty big news recently in the worlds of both pop culture and science.

Though Mimi missed it, Perry's journey to space was widely publicized this past spring. She was one of several women who flew approximately 62 miles above Earth on a rocket trip organized by Jeff Bezos' space tech company, riding the line between the atmosphere and outer space before coming back down after about 10 minutes.
