Dr. Salvador Plasencia, the doctor who supplied ketamine to actor Matthew Perry, has been sentenced to 30 months in federal prison.

A California doctor, Salvador Plasencia, was sentenced to 2½ years in prison for illegally supplying ketamine to “Friends” star Matthew Perry, whose 2023 overdose death was linked to the drug.

Perry had been taking the surgical anesthetic ketamine legally as a treatment for depression.
