The New York Giants make a curious and interesting decision in the latest two-round mock draft from The Athletic.

Shedeur Sanders didn't take the field at the East-West Shrine Bowl. The star 2025 NFL Draft prospect did, however, drop a hint about his future on the AT&T Stadium turf, telling NFL Media on Thursday that he knows he'll be suiting up in the stadium to play "against the [Dallas] Cowboys" before long.

Sanders is widely viewed as one of the top two quarterback prospects in this upcoming draft. The QB, projected as a top-two pick ahead of the 2025 NFL Draft, will not participate in practice or the game, but will meet with teams at the event.

It looks as if No. 3 is one spot out of where the Giants need to be in what is widely considered an underwhelming and largely a two-quarterback draft.

Well, if they do, it would be a much bigger surprise than what Manning accomplished. But Ole Miss quarterback Jaxson Dart — who, like Manning, was a three-year college starter — is generating some buzz leading up to the 2025 NFL Draft.
