Philadelphia 76ers star Paul George spent the first seven seasons of his career with the Indiana Pacers, leading the franchise to two Eastern Conference finals appearances.

After Paul George spoke about his disappointment in the Pacers treatment, the team will make it up to him.

There was a time when the Pacers’ on-court successes were set squarely on Paul George’s shoulders. The 34-year-old swingman won four of his nine All-Star appearances in Indiana, building his reputation as a prolific scorer with a penchant for defense.

George once again returned to Indiana earlier this month in a road game with the Sixers, and still did not receive a homecoming tribute from the Pacers.

Philadelphia 76ers star Paul George has shown different versions of his skills on each team. But the Indiana Pacers remain special. PG-13 started his career in Indianapolis after the team drafted him as the 10th overall pick in 2010.

While he was unable to play in the game due to injury, and obviously not his first time back in Indiana, it was peculiar that the Pacers didn’t at least acknowledge their former star.
