KYIV − Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said he would agree to meet Kremlin leader Vladimir Putin in Turkey on Thursday after U.S. President Donald Trump told him immediately to accept Putin's proposal of direct talks.

The weapon is made with a model aircraft engine available for approximately $16,000, according to the Ukrainian Main Intelligence Directorate.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy comments mark the latest move in a weekend-long exchange of proposals from both sides on the next steps in the U.S.-led peace effort.

A CNN investigation found that residents of Mariupol, including schoolchildren, are being trained in new media programs and “blogger schools” with ties to the Russian state.

A Ukrainian military spokesperson said the deployment signals that Russian forces are facing some trouble in Chasiv Yar.

The Kremlin brushed off the threat of further sanctions, saying that “the language of ultimatums is unacceptable.”
