Thomas Partey left Premier League club Arsenal following the expiry of his contract on June 30, four days before he was charged by police over allegations rape and sexual assault

Villarreal have completed the signing of former Arsenal midfielder Thomas Partey. Partey, 32, has signed a two year deal at the La Liga club, comprising of an initial one-year contract with the option of a further 12 months, with Villarreal confirming the transfer on Thursday.

The midfielder completed a move to the Spanish side on Thursday, August 7, joining as a free agent following his decision to leave Arsenal.
