Updated: Jul 7, 2025 / 03:38 PM EDT McALLEN, Texas (AP) — A 27-year-old man was killed Monday after opening fire at a U.S. Border Patrol facility in McAllen, Texas, authorities said.

The shooter, who has since been identified as 27-year-old Ryan Louis Mosqueda, planned the attack on Border Patrol agents stationed at the Rio Grande Valley annex, Fox News reports.

Shortly after the game was called, Gonzalez was arrested by McAllen Police and charged with assault causing bodily injuries.
