Romulus officials are working to breathe new life into the city's downtown area after years of empty storefronts along Goddard Road.

The Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes and Energy (EGLE) awarded $4.6 million in brownfield redevelopment funding to six projects across the state, two of which are Downriver.
