FAYETTEVILLE — Consensus 5-star shooting guard and McDonald’s All American Jordan Smith has committed to Arkansas coach John Calipari and his staff. Smith, 6-2 and 195 pounds, of Chantilly (Va.) Paul VI, made an official visit to Fayetteville during the Sept. 19-21 weekend.
The DMV native becomes John Calipari’s third commit for next season, joining five-star wings JJ Andrews (No. 16 overall) and Abdou Toure (No. 22). With Smith’s commitment, Calipari is on pace to sign his third straight top-five recruiting class in Fayetteville.
