The Chicago White Sox are reportedly more likely to pick up the Luis Robert Jr.'s option during the offseason than deal him at the MLB trade deadline.

The Chicago White Sox had hopes of moving former All-Star centerfielder Luis Robert Jr. by the trade deadline on Thursday. Robert, 27, had an abysmal start to the season but has turned a corner in July, slashing .353/.441/.549 in 15 games.

For weeks it seemed likely the Chicago White Sox would trade outfielder Luis Robert Jr. before the trade deadline. But now, according to MLB.com's Mark Feinsand, Robert is unlikely to be dealt.
