Football legend Neymar Jr. makes a blockbuster return to Brazil, as the 'Prince' returns to his boyhood club - Santos FC. The much-anticipated transfer, whose rumours were circulating from past one month, is now confirmed by the club via a latest video posted on their official 'X' account.

Santos FC announced on social media the return of forward Neymar to the club after 11 and a half years. Neymar's last team was Saudi Arabian club Al-Hilal, which he left in early 2025 as a free agent. During his time with the Asian club, he played only seven matches across all competitions, scoring one goal.

Neymar's decision to potentially return to Santos stems from a difficult period at Al-Hilal. Injuries hampered his consistency, leading to his exclusion from the Saudi Arabian league.
