A s global concern over the hunger crisis in Gaza intensifies, Steve Witkoff, President Donald Trump's special envoy to the Middle East, and U.S. Ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee, on Friday inspected the U.S. and Israel-backed aid distribution system there.

President Trump is expected to approve a new Gaza humanitarian aid plan on Friday after his envoy Steve Witkoff visits the enclave and briefs him about the situation, White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt said in a briefing on Thursday.

The White House sent special envoy Steve Witkoff and U.S. Ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee to inspect food distribution sites in Gaza.
