A Wall Street Journal report late Thursday added new scrutiny to President Donald Trump’s relationship with the late sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

The President has tried to blame the Democrats, and, more unexpectedly, he has called those in his base who have asked for a fuller accounting “weaklings” and “stupid.”

Trump’s decision to seek the release of grand jury transcripts but not Justice Department files comes after a recent article by the WSJ reporting on his ties to Jeffrey Epstein led many to believe the 47th US president may personally be implicated in evidence against the disgraced financier.
