Two late Ollie Palmer goals see Wrexham come from behind to force penalties in the Carabao Cup first round and beat Hull in the shootout.

Wrexham's win on penalties over Hull City in Tuesday's League Cup first-round meeting has helped them kickstart their campaign after a disappointing loss to Southampton in the Championship, the Welsh club's manager Phil Parkinson said.

Wrexham striker Ollie Palmer scored two goals in the space of a minute in stoppage time then converted one of the team's penalties in its dramatic shootout win over Hull in the English League Cup on Tuesday.
