An initial internet search led me to investigate the presence of an extra period at the end of the incoming mail settings in outlook 2021. the post I found indicated that they resolved their problem by getting rid of the period at the end of the server identifier string "pop3.comcast.net."

Dec 24, 2024 · psa——Anyone having issue with your Xfinity/comcast email not connecting to your iPhone third party apps such as the Mail app I may have the fix. First turn off wifi. Log into Xfinity account and reset your password. Delete xfinity/comcast mail account from iPhone. Then add that email account with the new password.

I don’t know what it was, but it must’ve been something on their end because they kept doing things and telling me to try things and eventually got all three of my email addresses working.
