140 years ago the Isle of Man became the first nation in the world to give women the vote. Today is International Women's Day, with the theme for 2021 being #ChooseToChallenge. We thought this chimed perfectly with this momentous event in 1881, which enabled some women to take up the right to take a part in democracy in this country for the first time, so we here share the short film made about it by Northwest Tonight a few years ago.
