The Siman Tov family lived in Kibbutz Nir Oz, a community near the Gaza border in southern Israel. The family included Tamar Kedem‑Siman Tov (age 35), her husband Yonatan “Johnny” Siman Tov (36), their three young children — twin daughters Shahar Siman Tov and Arbel Siman Tov (about 5.5), and a son Omer Siman Tov (2). On October 7, 2023, during the brutal attack by Hamas on southern Israel, the family sought refuge in the safe room of their home. According to survivors’ accounts and later invest
