Kenny Loggins (born January 7, 1948) is an American singer, songwriter, and guitarist. He first gained recognition in the early 1970s as one half of the folk-rock duo Loggins and Messina, before launching a successful solo career. Loggins became one of the most prominent soundtrack artists of the 1980s, earning the nickname “King of the Movie Soundtrack” with hits such as “Footloose,” “Danger Zone,” and “I’m Alright.” His work spans pop, rock, and soft rock, with multiple Grammy Awards. @thekenn
