My biggest red flag as a patient advocate: Any provider who vilifies OxyContin but applauds the dental decaying opioid, buprenorphine. Suboxone/Subutex/Belbuca are all linked to catastrophic dental decay/psychosis/excessive sweating. Because of the long half life, it’s nearly impossible for people to wean off the poison.
