E hīmeni kākou! “Auē ke aloha ʻāina” was born during the Maunakea movement, a moment when the welo of the lāhui was aligned and the reverberations of aloha ʻāina were carried through the actions and leo of people, place, and practice coming together. This mele was created for the lāhui it calls upon both voice and hands, inviting all to participate.
