The review of the primary education curriculum shows that a lot of students are in the critical and basic level when it comes to literacy and numeracy. The data is from the 2016 to 2019 Literacy and Numeracy Assessment or LANA for students in year five and seven. This was revealed during a meeting on the Primary Education Curriculum - Literacy and Numeracy in Suva this morning.
