An incredible lucky day for this wombat. Its 1.5 hours drive for us to get here and softly raining. We expected to put a camera up with a flap as this sick wombat lives under the house But as soon as we were on the access road I spotted a wombat shape in the garden She was out and about and we got a dose on her quickly before she bolted What made it harder was the wind was blowing on my back so blowing my smell directly towards her. This morning he got up a little and took a few bites of hay but not much before he fell asleep again. He is still desperately unwell but every night he survives gives me a little more hope for the day.
